Founded 22 years ago by leading endurance driver Ron Meixner to offer a wide range of motor sport related engineering services, VICI GROUP has grown today into a number of closely linked divisions which are at the forefront of their respective sectors of expertise. 

Today the geographical locations of the VICI GROUP's on-going involvement include the USA, Germany, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Brazil, Argentina, France and Italy. 

The VICI GROUP is broken down into the following divisions: 

VICI RACING 

The group's original core activity, the motor racing division, has now had an almost twenty year involvement at all levels of global motor racing. 

Perhaps the division's most famous achievement came in 1990 when VICI RACING, in their very first endurance race, won the GT class of the legendary, car-breaking 24 Hours of Daytona, a stunning result which was also gained with more than an hour in hand at the chequered flag. 

VICI RACING has undertaken programmes for manufacturer and customer teams, in the process building up an unrivalled wealth of expertise and experience. 

Today VICI RACING handles projects for a wide variety of clients across the globe. These range from individual customer racing programmes to providing engineering, technical, logistical and/or management services for organisations involved in racing series' such as ALMS, ChampCar, IndyCar, Carrera Cup and NASCAR, mostly carried on a strictly confidential basis. 

VICI SPECIAL VEHICLE PROJECTS (SVP) 

This division was formed in response to demand for individually tailored automotive programmes, from one off ‘specials' to limited production run vehicles. 

Notable highlights include converting the Lamborghini Diablo GTR and Porsche 962 race cars for road homologation, and the famous 700 bhp Porsche 930 Cabriolet programme, which used technology and lightweight materials a decade ahead of their time.

Most of the VICI SVP division's past and present projects are of a highly confidential nature. 

VICI MARINE 

A long-term involvement with the famous offshore powerboat-running Cigarette Racing Team, saw the activities spun-off into a separate division located in Florida. VICI introduced a number of ‘leading edge' technologies to the powerboat racing team, including lightweight materials (carbon fibre and Kevlar), advanced aerodynamics, new engine technology, and the introduction of electronic fuel injection management systems. 

Today VICI MARINE's, biggest single undertaking involves the enlargement and conversion of Mercedes-Benz engines for marine use. 

VICI AERO 

The division originally sprang to life as a direct result of VICI GROUP President Ron Meixner's passion for fixed wing and rotary aircraft. 

Today VICI AERO provides aircraft management and hanger services, as well having a thriving arm restoring historical aircraft.
